This company had been created by a management buy out from a huge multi-national hardware and
services vendor. Its goal was to move into higher value voice and data service provision to
corporate business by becoming a multi-national Mobile Virtual Network Operator.
The Company had very ambitious financial targets.
MorganDoyle worked with senior management in the mobile business unit to develop a
business model, position the Company appropriately in the value chain, re-structure its human
capital, negotiate the most advantageous partnership with a network operator, define the product
offering and design suitable operational support systems. All embodied in a detailed business
plan and associated financial model.
The company formed a partnership with the largest UK mobile network operator in line with the
terms and time line expectations of the business plan.
