MorganDoyle’s DDIS (Discover, Design, Implement, Support) methodology ensures that the project’s goals are
fulfilled within timescales and budget. In conjunction with DDIS, the PRINCE2
Project
Management methodology is employed. Together these provide a framework covering the wide variety of
disciplines and activities required within a project.
The focus throughout DDIS is on the business case, which describes the rationale and business
justification for the project. It embodies many years of good practice in project management and
provides a flexible and adaptable approach.
Risk management is central to MorganDoyle’s methodology. At each stage results
are validated both internally and externally against business requirements. Success criteria and
entry gates are established prior to execution of each phase. MorganDoyle strictly adheres
to task resource
allocation.
Change managementis essential. MorganDoyle establishes processes to
ensure feedback is acted upon once an analysis of impact, cost and benefit has been undertaken, the
implementation has been authorised and the plans, designs and requirements modified appropriately.
ITIL provides a sound generic framework for change management but
this must be tailored to suite the environment in any particular company.
